Maria Zakharova-McNeil

I am an ex-professional ballet dancer trained by the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia.  I have several years experience as a professional ballet dancer performing in the Moscow ballet theatres and companies.  Since retiring from performing I have worked as a professional dance teacher training dancers at vocational level who have had success entering the professional performing world as ballet dancers.  I would like to share my skills, experience and knowledge in England and work within a professional vocational establishment that expect to achieve high results from their students.

I performed in the majority  of classical ballet and  contemporary dance productions i.e.:” Swan Lake, “Sleeping beauty”, ”Nutcracker”, “Giselle”, “Coppelia”, “Don Quixote”, “La Bayadere”, ”La Sylphide”, ”Chopiniana”, ”La fille male guarde”, “Raymonda”, ”Le Corsair”, “Midsummer Night Dream”, ”Cinderella”, ”Romeo and Juliet” etc. I performed on international tours with the 3 of the above ballet companies to: Japan, Poland, Spain, Macao, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
