I started dancing at the age of 7, with the Susan Taylor School of Dance, attending Tap and Modern Stage classes. At the age of 11 my mother took me to Ballroom Classes at the Banbury School of Dance with Mary Barrett, which I really enjoyed. As ever we were always short of boys and I started learning both boys and girls steps, and took medals for both. This then lead me to study for my associate in Ballroom with the I.D.T.A which I obtained in 1987. I then went on to teach for the Instep School of Dance in Banbury for 23 years. Joining the Step By Step team, is an exciting experience and great fun and puts new challenges out for me every week but totally enjoyable.
